Professional

Every great business professional has built his career around a fundamental truth, and Scott Fischer is no exception—“be the best version of yourself and win every day.”

This core philosophy is what moved Scott to join Northwestern Mutual, where he felt inspired by their high integrity culture and client-first approach to conducting business.

Since joining Northwestern Mutual back in 2007, Scott has taken on a roles working as both a Financial Advisor and Growth and Development Director.

Over the past 10 years, Scott has worked with countless professionals and emerging leaders on aligning their intentions with their actions; helping them create a pathway to their dreams.

Much of Scott's success and the success his clients experience can be attributed to his ability to dig deep. Scott isn't afraid to ask deep, thought-provoking questions to help better understand the individuals he works with.

Today, Scott would like to ask you a few of these questions:

  1. Do you see value in a financial plan that incorporates not only wealth management, but also wealth preservation, distribution and risk management?
  2. Do you believe in math?
  3. Is it important to plan for what can go wrong before you plan for the possibility of what may go right?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should consider hopping on a call with Scott.

Whether you are interested in developing a financial plan for yourself or hearing more about the value Scott and his team bring to the clients they serve, set up a quick call.

Scott and his wife Krista are both from the Midwest. They spent their childhood growing up in the small town of Sterling, IL. After college, Krista moved to Florida to be with Scott. After 20 years, in 2024, they moved from sunny Ponte Vedra, FL to reunite with the family back in Illinois.

They have four your boys, Shepherd (8), Lyric (7), Sterling (5) and Coda (4). The boys love all sports, including fishing and farming at their new home in Illinois. They also have two dogs, Bear and Huxley. They plan on growing the fur family with some animals for the farm.

When Scott is not spending his time working with clients, developing financial representatives or volunteering his time, he enjoys meditation, church, golfing, coaching his son's sport teams and spending time with his family!

Lending a hand in my community.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
