The Mario Lemieux Foundation is dedicated to cancer research, patient care, and supporting families in challenging medical situations. Austin’s Playrooms was created to benefit families and improve the quality of a child’s hospital experience whether as a visitor or patient by establishing cheerful playrooms that are safe, calming and comfortable.
Alex's Lemonade Stand
Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual has donated more than $20 million to support ALSF. Locally, the San Diego office is proud to donate money that will go toward changing the lives of children with cancer.
