About William (Billy) San Roman
I am a girl-dad, husband, son and brother to a loving family, and a proud first generation American of Argentine descent.
My wife, Victoria, and I met in Boston in 2014. Two years later, we moved to the island of Oahu in Hawaii where we lived until July 2022. Upon learning that our daughter, Isabella, would be born in September, we made the decision to move back to New York to be close to our family for the next chapter of our lives.
My love for all things personal finance, investing, and financial planning began in 2017. I not only developed a deep personal conviction for financial planning, but also a whole new career path.
For me, gaining confidence in my finances was life changing. Now, years later, I could not be more excited to continue serving clients all over the country, showing them what’s possible, and building their confidence through comprehensive financial planning relationships.
My experiences in life and work taught me to always put others first. In the same vein, my approach to planning centers on the individuals and families I serve. I’m grateful to work with so many clients who, like me, value partnership and long-term relationships.
On the weekends, I can be found doing what I love, watching Penn State Football (WE ARE!), cooking, reading or just spending time with my family and friends. The days of regularly hiking and scuba diving are behind us now, but we enjoy prioritizing those activities when we travel.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.
Penn State's THON
"The largest student-run philanthropy in the world." THON is a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. Their mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness, and ensure funding for critical research - in all pursuit of a cure. Billy was a proud dance participant in 2011 and continues to support this organization annually.
