Professional

I'm passionate about helping people take control of their financial future by providing clear, strategic, and personalized financial guidance. As a former professional basketball player, I know that success isn't achieved alone - it takes teamwork, discipline, and execution. I bring that same mindset to financial planning, working alongside my clients as a trusted partner to help them reach their goals.

With experience as a NBA scout and Division 1 coach, I've mentored and coached over 10 professional and current NBA players, giving me a unique ability to connect with athletes, business owners, families and individuals from all walks of life. Whether you're a small business owner navigating financial growth, a family planning for the future, or an athlete looking to build lasting wealth, I meet you where you are and guide you toward your goals.

My superpower is being able to build meaningful relationships while being genuine with every person I encounter.

About me

I grew up in Louisiana with a love for basketball and a deep appreciation for hard work. My father's 30 years in the Air Force taught me discipline, commitment, and adaptability values that shaped who I am today.

Basketball took me around the world, including playing professionally in Australia along with stops in Sweden, Denmark, Russia, Finland and Canada. I attended Washburn University, where I earned my MBA with an emphasis in Finance, and later obtained a master's in education from the University of Oklahoma.

I was raised in a family full of strong women between my sisters and girl cousins, I learned early on the importance of listening, supporting, and understanding the unique challenges women face. My wife, also a former collegiate athlete, has been my greatest teammate. Together we are raising two amazing girls. Beyond my career, I find joy in playing golf, learning Spanish, and helping families especially women feel confident and secure in their financial futures.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
