Personal
Katie, Powell, Clayton, Beau and I live in beautiful Watkinsville, GA. We both graduated from the University of Georgia, Go Dawgs! We love spending time in our community and outdoors with our kids and dogs. We grew up in Snellville, GA and are high school sweethearts. We enjoy investing richly in the next generation, neighborhoods, and the nations around us.
We are involved in a few organizations including Young Life, Watkinsville First Baptist, Extra Special People, University of Georgia to name a few.
Little League sports is also a big passion of mine and I spend a lot of my free time coaching football and baseball in Oconee County. Most of our weekends are spent on the ball field!
Here's myself, my wife, and my kids hanging out with Mickey Mouse at Disney.

The boys (and future girl!) outside of Sanford Stadium. Go Dawgs!

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

MUST brings people of many faiths together to respond to God's challenge to minister to others with compassion and love, without judgment of the beliefs, background or circumstances of those who serve or are being served.

Cru
Cru is the name of Campus Crusade for Christ International in the U.S. Our purpose is helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith and sending them to win and build others.

OCYFA (Oconee County Youth Football Association) and Oconee County Little League
Much of my time spent outside of the office is dedicated to coaching my boys' various sports teams, including football in the fall and baseball in the spring.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
