Tom started his career with Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Advisor back in 2010. He built and maintained a successful financial services business mainly in Rochester, NY over the past 13 years and has become one of the most successful advisors in the Greater NY Group.
Tom’s career within Northwestern Mutual has expanded and he took on the Managing Director role here in Buffalo, in addition to continuing to build his Financial Services Practice and team. Tom believes he has the best job in the world and enjoys sharing his passion for his work with others.
Tom and his wife Allison recently moved to Buffalo from Rochester where they live with their son Teddy, their daughter Lucy and their dog Bernie. Tom loves golfing, watching Teddy to have natural baseball talents and is ecstatic about seeing Lucy grow!

Michelle joined Northwestern Mutual Rochester in September 2016 working directly with Tom Fishback.
Michelle’s role has expanded as Fishback team continues to grow. While she has experience in majority of parts in the practice, her expertise includes meeting prep work and processing for all insurances, investment accounts and financial planning.
Michelle loves spending time with her family. Husband, Kurt and son Logan. In her spare time, she enjoys barre class and mornings at the beach.
