Professional Background
Theo Kuczarski began his career with Northwestern Mutual when he was introduced to the company through a long time friend. Theo has been a part of the organization since 2006. He finds great satisfaction in getting to know each of his clients and helping them identify and reach their financial goals.
Theo holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional certification. From budgeting, to planning for retirement, to saving for education, to managing tax-efficient strategies and your insurance coverage, “finances” doesn’t mean just one thing for most Americans — and “financial planning” means much more than just investing. Bringing all the pieces of your financial life together is a challenging task.
Although many professionals may call themselves “financial planners,” CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professionals have completed extensive training and experience requirements and are held to rigorous ethical standards. They understand all the complexities of the changing financial climate and will make recommendations in your best interest.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS)
Theo, who adopted his pit bull Champ in 2006 is an advocate for the breed. He volunteers at B.A.R.C.S., a city run animal shelter in Baltimore, MD, which is inundated with homeless pit bulls. In addition, Theo has fostered and placed multiple pit bulls to good homes throughout the state of Maryland. Theo and his mother Ann had a kennel named after them at Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS) honoring the charitable work they have done to help homeless animals in the Baltimore area.
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Theo is an active supported of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He helps to raise money and bring awareness by participating in the Light The Night Walk. The Light The Night Walk is the L&L Society's annual fundraising walk to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer.
Rappel for Kidney Health
Since 2013 Theo has helped raise funds and awareness for Kidney disease by participating in "Rappel for Kidney Health" which requires participants raise $1,000 and then rappel from of a 30 story building in downtown Baltimore. In 2024, Theo donated one of his kidneys.
