Professional

I am a Financial Advisor with a passion and focus on Long-Term Care (LTC) planning.  I work with clients throughout the Southeast to develop and fund extended care plans helping families protect their physical, emotional, and financial well-being.

My father was a WWII veteran and had purchased a long-term care insurance policy shortly before he retired in 1990. He began receiving benefits in 2011 until his passing in late 2019. Having that policy removed all financial pressure from care decisions that needed to be made so that we could focus our attention on really enjoying time with him, especially the last four years of his life. This first-hand experience with long term care planning has shaped me personally and professionally.

Years of Experience

Representing Northwestern Mutual since 2016.

Personal

Originally from Louisville of Kentucky, I moved to the upstate of South Carolina in 1988 to take my first job after graduation, and the upstate has been home ever since.

Married to my wife Aimee since 1986, we have been blessed to raise a beautiful family of seven sons and three daughters, and currently five grandchildren.

I am very active in my church as a Sunday school teacher and catechist and team member of a men's Christian retreat called Emmaus which has been conducted twice per year every year since 2012.

All people deserve to be loved and respected. My vision personally is to humbly seek the good, the true, and the beautiful; and to the best of my ability, live those virtues myself and effectively communicate them to others so they can realize their full God given dignity and worth.
