Without financial planning, my wife Sarah's death would also have been a financial tragedy.

I lost my wife Sarah to metastatic breast cancer in 2017, and I was left alone with my two young children: Sergio Michaél was 5 years old, and Anaïs was only 2. 

I was the CMO of a software company, and even with a foundation of success, Sarah’s death would have been a financial tragedy if we hadn’t sat down with a Northwestern Mutual financial planner years before.

I have firsthand experience with the impact of financial planning as a defense against when things go wrong, and I am committed to helping other families prepare for the future.
