About Samuel

I began my career as a financial professional right out of school and haven’t looked back since. I love the entrepreneurial nature of this career. I love the flexibility of this career. I love the financial security this career provides. What I love most about this career though, is the relationships with my clients and the lasting impact that our work together can create for them, their families, and their communities. Working hard on creating a financial plan, breathing life into it through action, and then monitoring the very tangible, forward progress is a very rewarding experience for me, our team, and most importantly, our clients.

Community and family are also very important to me. When I’m not working hard on my clients’ financial plans, you can usually find me with my wife Bruria, and our four young children (Eliana, Yonatan, Dovid, and Binyamin) at a playground, visiting grandparents, manning a lemonade stand, or at the ice cream store. When I’m not working with clients or spending time with family, you can usually find me in our local synagogue helping with prayer services, Torah study, or other community events. And when I’m not doing any of the above, you can usually find me reading a book, challenging anyone that will listen to a scrabble or chess match, drinking too much Starbucks coffee (according to my wife), and rooting on the NY Giants (very hard to do these days!).

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
