Personal
I am married to my wonderful wife, McKenzie. We met after college in Charleston, SC, and now we reside in Hoover, AL, with our two children.
Growing up in south Alabama with two sisters, football quickly became a way of life for me. My passion for the game began at a young age and eventually led me to play at the collegiate level. There, I learned the invaluable lessons of hard work, commitment, and teamwork.
Faith and family are my highest priorities. After being a client of Northwestern Mutual for four years, I decided to join the firm. Experiencing financial planning from a client's perspective deepened my appreciation for the profession.
When I'm not at work, you'll likely find me working out in my garage, savoring a pour-over coffee, or engrossed in a good book.
Professional
I attended Huntingdon College where I studied mathematics. I was a member of the football team for four years and served as team captain my senior year. After graduating undergrad with a BA in Mathematics, I moved to Charleston to join a non-profit aimed at mentoring and preparing college students for life after college. I spent seven years with this organization leading several small teams. I became a client of Northwestern Mutual in 2016 and then joined the company in 2021. I have always had an interest in finances and the role that planning plays in our future.
My focus is on helping families and professionals create financial plans customized to them. I love that my work allows me to not only impact individuals but also the community at large.
I have experience with the following fields:
- Medical Professionals
- Business Owners
Education
Huntingdon College - Mathematics (Bachelor of Science)
Lending a hand in my community.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
