Professional
Ryan Seibel started his career as a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual in 2015, with the mission of developing long lasting relationships adding value and expertise to his clients. Ryan currently works with over 300 clients in California and another 100 clients across the United States, providing expert guidance for a lifetime of financial security. Ryan's expertise is working with business owners, and professionals in customizing a plan to reduce their taxation, protect their assets, and save towards their goals of financial freedom.
Ryan received his bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual, Ryan spent his first four years after graduating working with Sunrun, the largest residential solar energy provider in the United States. Ryan started with Sunrun in sales when there were only 5 sales people in his office. He led the entire Sunrun company in face-to-face sales in August 2014. He was promoted to management, and business development, and grew the sales team to 100 sales reps, before heading an office expansion effort into Northern California. Ryan left the solar industry with a passion to enter an industry where he could build a long term relationship business, which is when he found Northwestern Mutual.
In addition to running his own financial planning practice, Ryan holds a leadership role as a Growth and Development Director in the Irvine, CA office. In this role, he mentors new career-changing advisors. He helps develop the skills necessary to build their own financial planning practices and perform as a top level financial advisor.
Since taking on a leadership role in January 2018, he has hired, trained, and developed seven full time advisors who are currently serving the market in Orange County.
Ryan holds his Series 6 and Series 63 licenses, the Life, Accident and Health license and passed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, as well as passing five CFP courses.

Personal
Ryan Seibel lives in Trabuco Canyon, CA with his wife, Amanda, and their three sons, Beau, Rocky, and Apollo. He and Amanda met while attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo while working at the same restaurant, Koberl at Blue, in Downtown SLO. Ryan and Amanda enjoy traveling throughout California and visiting Amanda's family in San Diego, and Ryan's family in Northern California.
Ryan, Amanda, Beau, Rocky, and Apollo love going to parks and beaches during the weekends. Amanda is a licensed Landscape Architect with RRM Design in San Juan Capistrano, CA and is a mosaic artist as well. Beau is the most energetic man-child, often seen jumping off walls and playing. Rocky is a jokester and silly dancer. Lastly, Apollo is a baby and just sits there for now! We all love to go to parks, see friends, and look forward to years of traveling and adventure together.

Lending a hand in my community.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
