We Help You Realize What is Possible

When you think about your ultimate version of success, what do envision? Are you absolutely clear on what it will take to achieve it?

Let's face it...society and school don’t teach us how to balance a check book let alone plan for the future; with all the intricacies and pitfalls that can come with investments, insurance, estate planning, tax strategies, and wealth management. For many people, they may know what they want, but don’t know if they are doing everything right to fulfill their ultimate vision. That is where our team comes in.

At The Drouin Wealth Management Group, we will quarterback the entire financial planning process so you can better focus on living your best life. We will work tirelessly to become your most trusted, independent advisors and help you achieve your ultimate version of success. Whether you are a business owner concerned about how to gracefully exit, a tech executive with complicated stock options, a soon-to-be retiree wanting to make sure your money will last as long as you do, or even a first-time investor unsure of where to start, we are going to take the time to get to know you and help you achieve the vision of success for you and your family.

Where some firms are primarily concerned with their bottom line, sales, and/or gathering assets, we work differently. We are an independent, fee-based planning team and our primary concern is our client's needs and goals. Only once we understand what is important to our clients can we start charting the course of action. There is no one best solution for everyone and we understand that every situation, family, or business is unique and so we work through strategies that are centered around what is important to each client while delivering a holistic planning experience; not cookie cutter plans or blanket recommendations.

So How Do We Do It?

  1. Discovery: Identifying Goals and Getting Clear on Your Vision

Where do you want to go and what makes you and your situation unique? That’s what we start with. Ultimately, whether it's shorter-term goals like managing your debt, longer-term ones like transferring your business, or even getting to and through retirement, we will have a discussion to understand where you are and help you gain clarity on what does your ultimate version of success look like. We will identify all of the challenges that you may be facing, as well as helping us identify which other advisors and specialists we may need as part of your wealth management plan. We will also talk through how you would like YOUR wealth to be managed, as often, two people with the same balance sheet may want to approach their financial planning differently. In discovery, we will also help you identify the key players of your team that are necessary to fulfill your planning and help you to get the right professionals on your team to carry your vision forward.

  2. Buildout: Building Your Personalized Strategic Plan

In the Buildout phase, we start to lay the foundation of what your version of success looks like. Our team takes all the information that was discussed during Discovery and quantifies it. For us, this means that we use our sophisticated planning software and independent resources to see exactly how on and/or off track you may be relative to your goals and what it will take to get you there. We will also put together creative solutions to solve the issues that your plan may be facing.

  3. Customization: Understanding and Refining Your Strategic Plan

This is where the fun really starts! After our team handles all the analytics, our advisors will meet with you to go over the strategic plan. Think of it this way; if you were building your dream home, this part would be when you get the 3D models of your home back the designer and you can start to start to see the final product. We will show you where you are, what needs to be done to get you on track, and what the result of our recommendations will be; all while breaking it down into bite size chunks and a digestible lists of action items. We want you to gain a clear understanding of exactly what you need to do to get to where you want to be. However, you’re in the driver’s seat the whole time, so if you want to change the goal, or if our recommendation isn’t quite lining up with your values, we will work with you to make sure the final version of your plan that feels just right for you.

  4. Implementation: Moving You Forward Towards Your Goals

“Action is the foundational key to all success.” – Pablo Picasso. We couldn’t have said it better. Without action, there cannot be any progress. Talk is cheap. For this reason, we believe Implementation to be the most important part of our process. During the Implementation phase, we will work with you, and any other professionals necessary, to establish and complete all aspects of your strategic plan. Our team plays the quarterback to your Strategic Plan and works with you through the list of items needed to be accomplished. This could include opening new accounts, implementing investment and/or insurance strategies, working with outside attorneys/accountants, and more. We break up the list of action items into phases will work with you to get you on track and keep you on track. Once one item is completed, we move on to the next; all the while, keeping the overall vision of your strategic plan in our sights.

  5. Ongoing Review: Making Sure Everything is Working as it Should

It’s the same idea with your financial planning. Once all your outstanding items have been accomplished, we schedule future reviews to check in and make sure everything in your plan is working as it should. If it’s not, no problem. We will make any necessary adjustments to make sure that your plan is always on track and as unique as you are.
