About Me
Professional
I became a financial representative to help bridge the gap between hard-working individuals and the "intimidating" world of finance. My family had a wonderful experience with a financial advisor five years ago, which impacted our path in the most positive way and helped us realize it isn't so intimidating. This experience is what led me to this career. I love educating good people on what's possible when reaching their goals; providing them the building blocks to make the best decisions for their families.
After I received my Bachelor's in Business Administration, I spent the first ten years of my career in two very different industries: supply chain management and medical device sales. I primarily held account management and sales consultant roles learning a lot about interpersonal communication, problem-solving, time management, and customer service. A lot of those experiences have equipped me to best serve my clients today and be an asset to individuals and families across the country.
Personal
I'm originally from a small town outside of Peoria, IL and come from a blue-collar community. My family is very tight-knit and work to be together as much as possible. My parents instilled the importance of friends and family at a very early age, a standard I still uphold today.
I married my college sweetheart, Morgan, in 2019. She's funny, smart, and a wonderful mother to our son, Everett (I'm hoping we have a future baseball player on our hands). We are also parents to a couple four-legged critters, Kevin and Doug. In our spare time, we enjoy exercising, traveling, eating at new restaurants, exploring new breweries/distilleries, and taking in sporting events. We currently reside in Urbana, IL and really enjoy being in the Central IL communities close to family and friends.
How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
