Personal

I was born and raised in Slinger, Wisconsin, a really great small community. I played basketball and baseball in high school and I ventured off to college following my senior year without a lot of direction. I lost my motivation to finish college and took a couple years off of school to work in construction building houses and hardscapes.

I met my wife Robin in 2009 and she asked me why I hadn't graduated from college yet. I didn't have a good answer for her, but always knew I wanted to finish school someday. The following semester, I enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee where I studied Business Administration for 3 additional years. I achieved my Bachelor's of Business Administration with a major in Finance.

Robin and I have been happily married since 2012. In 2013 we welcomed our first son Everett into our family. Everett is very smart and full of life. He definitely keeps us on our toes. Our second son Eddy was born in 2015. Eddy loves to wrestle, play sports, and pretty much follow his big brother around. I very much enjoy my time with my family.

Lending a hand in my community.

In my spare time, I really enjoy giving back to my community. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Slinger Fire Department

I am a volunteer firefighter on the Slinger Fire Department. It really gives me a sense of involvement. I enjoy the comradery and working with a lot of people in the community to help those at a time in need. The fire department allows me to give back to the community that has given me so much.

Slinger-Allenton Rotary Club

I am also an active member in our local Slinger-Allenton Rotary Club volunteering in fundraising events and raising money for different community projects. Service above self is our motto. Hopefully, this instills similar values in my children that I hope they continue to use throughout their lifetime.

Professional

I started my career at Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative Intern in 2010. I explored opportunities within the company as well as outside the company in my one year tenure as a College Financial Representative before coming to the conclusion that this is AS GOOD AS IT GETS. I was offered a full time position as a financial representative after college. I started my full time career at Northwestern in 2012 and continue to grow professionally and with my clients.

I enjoy building and maintaining relationships with my family, friends, clients, and future clients. My goal is to help them achieve their goals and dreams. We take everyone through a strategic financial planning process to help them identify personal or business financial goals, and help put in place solutions to hit those goals.

I take pride in the relationship, as much as the business. I love meeting new people and welcome any favorable introductions to meet and positively impact as many successful individuals as possible within the next year... every year.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
