Meggin's Story
Meggin (she/her/hers) was born in Woodstock, Illinois about 50 miles northwest of Chicago where the movie classic "Groundhog Day" was filmed.
She grew up on a multi-generational family farm full of entrepreneurs. Her parents owned and operated a horse breeding and training facility and her grandparents owned and operated a national trucking fleet. She spent her childhood watching and learning hands on business management.
She was surrounded by a family setting with her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also the first LGBTQIA+ family member to be out, proud and accepted for herself.

As one of the eldest in her generation she grew up watching and helping them with their respective enterprises which led her on a path to a career in finance.
She began her journey in finance as a banker in 2006. As she advanced in her profession, she discovered a passion of working closely with kindred spirits and small business owners. She quickly found that most of her clients needed financial guidance in some form or another and had limited resources or support.
After nearly 15 years in the banking world, she felt she could be of better service to her community by focusing on guiding people versus being a salesperson alone.
In 2021 she took a leap of faith to start her own business with a focus on guiding individuals and small business owners in all facets of their unique and purposeful lives. She is passionate about helping her clients realize that their dreams can become a reality with perspective, purpose and guidance.
She and her husband Steve own small farm of their own in Havre de Grace, Maryland where they care for their own animals which includes 2 horses, 3 dogs, 5 cats, 4 goats, 4 chickens and 3 ducks every day. They have 2 sons and 2 beautiful young granddaughters whom they raise together.
In her free time, playing with her granddaughters, she enjoys riding horses with her husband, drawing, sewing, crocheting, reading, writing, painting and video games.
Fun Fact: Meggin is a renaissance faire enthusiast!
