About me

As an advisor, my mission is to help our clients achieve their unique vision of financial security by providing them with comprehensive financial planning & first-class service. Our unique value proposition in the marketplace is that we’re an independent practice, partnered with a Fortune 500 firm, Northwestern Mutual. This strategic partnership gives us access to everything Northwestern Mutual has to offer, which enables us to uphold our responsibilities to our clients by providing objective, unbiased recommendations for both investments & insurance planning.

Originally from Kentucky, my family moved to Tallahassee, FL when I was very young & eventually down to the Tampa Bay area when I was nine years old. I began swimming competitively at the age of five & ultimately earned a scholarship to swim collegiately for The University of Florida, where I was a part of multiple SEC Championship teams. After my swimming career ended, I was selected to join Northwestern Mutual’s top internship program & ultimately began my career as a financial advisor upon graduation. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, watching college football in the Fall & working on my golf game.

Lending a hand in my community.

I wholeheartedly believe if there’s two things that should never mix, it’s children & cancer. Unfortunately, they often do. My life has been forever impacted by pediatric cancer as my father’s first battle with cancer was at the age of 12. He was diagnosed with cancer for the second time at the age of 44 and it’s believed that it stemmed from the radiation he received as a child. Though he’s still with us today, the trajectory of my family’s life was changed forever because of the physical, emotional, and financial toll it had on all of us. I sometimes wonder “what if” but I know there’s nothing that can change the past. Instead, I’ve made it my personal mission to impact the future by supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and helping to raise money for pediatric cancer research along with the entire Northwestern Mutual family.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
