Personal
I grew up on the water in Gloucester, MA with my parents and siblings. I attended high school at St. John's Prep in Danvers, MA. I then enrolled at The George Washington University and obtained a degree in English with a minor in History. After college I worked with my for my Father's company building and renovating historic homes on the North Shore. After the Great Recession I decided to purse a law degree and I graduated from Suffolk Law School with a concentration in Trusts & Estates. Post passing the bar, in 2014 I began my Financial Planning practice at Northwestern Mutual.
I now reside in Gloucester with my wife Alessia and our three boys Sam, Teddy, and Leo. In our free time you can find us at Good Harbor or Wingaersheek beaches, cooking our favorite recipes, and travelling to new places.
Professional
Our team specializes in serving other business owners and professionals, who tend to be outgoing and open-minded people who think and dream big, but their hard earned success does not detract from being good-hearted and down to earth. Often having created first generation high income and wealth, they are curious to learn the go-to strategies to minimize taxes. They readily admit that they don't know what they don't know, and are appreciative of folks who take the time to get them up to speed yet allow them to drive a well-informed decision making process

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.

Habitat for Humanity
Martin is a past team leader for Habitat for Humanity, having lead a team of St. Jonh's Prep students on a week long trip to rural Virginia to build and repair homes.
Horizons for Homeless
Martin is currently on the Horizons for Homeless team slated to run the Boston Marathon in 2019, and he has committed to raising a significant sum for the Horizons cause.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
