Our mission is to Narrow the racial wealth gap in America by educating clients on the core financial disciplines needed to build wealth for themselves & the generations to follow them. In an effort to have a meaningful impact we realized the importance of building a team. We continue to create internship & fulltime opportunities for those inspired by this work so that our mission can be executed.

Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at Northwestern Mutual- Atlanta

The Black Empowerment Initiative (BEI) is one of six segments focused on DEI work. BEI’s purpose is to create an intentional community and career development opportunities for Black and African American advisors and staff within Northwestern Mutual to increase retention, business productivity, and engagement.

Marcus is a leader within this organization which will be the catalyst that creates generational wealth and increases the financial aptitude in the Black community.

The Black Network Office

In addition to being a financial advisor, Marcus is a part of the Black Network Office Leadership Team as the Growth & Development Director. In alignment with his passion for creating an impact in the lives of other, Marcus assists in recruiting and developing new advisors within the Atlanta area.
As the Growth and Development Director, he is responsible for growing a team of like-minded individuals to be successful advisors for the Atlanta Office.
