My Story

As the son of a small business owner, I grew up with an appreciation for the hard work and dedication required to build a business. Throughout my childhood, I’d hear my father turn on the shower at 3 am every morning and wonder why anyone would get up so early. He did it for the family, and, as many from his generation like to say, “to put food on the table.”

Today, my parents act as a reminder of the deep responsibility I have to every individual, family, and business owner I meet. My team understands that we have a commitment to understand our clients’ most cherished visions, values, and goals. We also want to know what keeps you up at night. From there, we’ll work together with you to build a plan that addresses your concerns and charts a course to achieving your financial goals.

Away from the office, I enjoy practicing yoga, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, exercising daily, riding my motorcycle and traveling. I am an active member of my community and serve on the Board of Lodestar Children’s Services and I volunteer at the Caring & Sharing Soup Kitchen at the United Methodist Church in Babylon Village and the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce.

Professional

I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™  Professional who helps analyze every aspect of my clients' financial lives. This encompasses assets, liabilities and cash flow, current insurance coverages, and investment and tax strategies. With a clear understanding of my clients' current financial situation, I develop and execute an investment plan designed to help achieve well-defined objectives. This includes constructing a properly diversified portfolio that provides maximum potential based on your personal risk tolerance and objectives. I also regularly review progress toward these individual objectives and make necessary adjustments to my recommendations as needed.

I am committed to alleviating my clients’ concerns about their finances and taking the emotion out of investing by putting a financial plan in place to keep them from overreacting during periods of market decline and growth.

To meet the rigorous pre- and post-certification requirements to attain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional designation, I completed approved educational programs, passed exacting exams, and met stringent experience requirements. I hold Series 63, 7, 6 and SIE securities licenses. I have a Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and graduated Cum Laude with Honors from Hofstra University.

Lending a hand in my community.

My team believes in giving back to our community. We volunteer time at Lodestar Children’s Services in Bohemia, NY and the Sharing & Caring Soup Kitchen at the United Methodist Church in Babylon, NY. In addition, we have volunteered at the Annual Les Nelkin Pediatric Cancer Survivors Day hosted by Cohen Children’s Hospital. The event is attended by hundreds of brave pediatric cancer survivors and their families. The children and their families have an opportunity to enjoy games and activities, take pictures with Mr. Met, and enjoy lunch at the Northwell Health Jones Beach Theater.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
