Providing clarity and a path to financial security
About Me
I grew up in Corvallis, Oregon in a family of six. As the youngest of four boys, family has always been an important aspect of my life. My wife, Jessica, and I have been married for 16 years and have two kids, Sophia (14) and Colin (12). I spent my college years in my hometown school of Oregon State University (Go Beavs!), and upon graduation in 2001, I began my fulltime career with Northwestern Mutual.

I’ve remained in this business for 23 years because I enjoy using my skillset to provide individuals, families, and businesses with a stable financial plan, and built-in protection for life’s ups and downs. I understand how many different things demand your attention, and how difficult it is to keep up with the ever-changing financial landscape. I’m here to take some stress off your plate and provide you with a clear financial plan that’s aligned with your personal goals.
I can help you assess your current financial situation and provide comprehensive risk management and investment solutions. When you work with me and my team, you’ll experience peace of mind, so you can focus your attention on what’s most important to you.
When I’m not helping my clients, you’ll typically find me out on the golf course, cheering on the Oregon State Beavers, enjoying a nice glass of wine with my wife, or watching my kids play sports. If you are looking to take the next step in your financial journey, or just talk about college athletics, feel free to set up a meeting. My team and I are here to be your financial partners.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
The Dougy Center
My passion for the Dougy Center and their mission stems from the loss of my brother, Jeff, to his battle with cancer over 25 years ago. Jeff left behind a wife and 3-year-old son, and the impact the Dougy Center made in their lives was immeasurable. My family is forever thankful for the support they provided during the most difficult time of their lives. I was a member of the Board of Directors for The Dougy Center for 6 years and continue to be strongly involved with this charity after my tenure on the Board ended June 2020. My wife, Jessica, and I were the co-chairpersons for the annual Spring Gala in May of 2016.

Children's Cancer Association - JoyRx
JoyRx provides joy-based programming in local hospitals for children fighting cancer or other serious illnesses. Our Oregon & SW Washington offices are proud to annually sponsor the Golf for Joy Tournament at Pumpkin Ridge, JoyRx's second-largest fundraising event. I've participated in the tournament and assisted with our office fundraising for JoyRx over the years.
