Advisor, Leader, Protector

I take my client's big picture goals and implement a comprehensive financial plan to protect the things they care about most. As the partnership grows, I want my clients to feel at ease knowing they have me and my team as a resource to help them navigate life. My goal is to be there to celebrate the happiest moments and be a support system through difficult times. Ultimately, at my core, I care about people and helping others succeed in achieving their goals.

My Role in Leadership

My career with Northwestern Mutual has allowed me to explore a role in leadership in addition to running my personal practice. After years of mentoring representatives in the Schaumburg office, I am now Managing Director of the Barrington District. We opened our doors at the start of 2024 and are growing our team. The best part about my career is sharing my passion. The impact of the work that we do as advisors is too great for just one person, and I am eager to support our community through intentional and strategic financial planning.

Years of Experience

Representing Northwestern Mutual since 2010.

Education

Michigan State University - Economics (Bachelor of Arts)

About me

I am a Chicagoland area native and grew up in Arlington Heights as the youngest of three siblings. I went on to attend college at Michigan State University, where I played club hockey (and even won a national championship in 2013!). In 2011, I started as a College Financial Representative in the internship program at Northwestern Mutual. Knowing that I wanted to spend my career in the financial services industry, I pursued a degree in Economics and graduated in 2013.

Throughout my life, I have been witness to many unfortunate circumstances that didn't have the proper planning in place. This has given me the drive to pursue a lifelong career with Northwestern Mutual to protect others and have the ability to provide the future I've envisioned for my own family.

In 2017, I married my wife Kelly and we live in Palatine, IL. Our toddler, Bridget, keeps us busy and we have another baby on the way! Family is what matters most to me and in my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time at our lake house in Wisconsin.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
