Lending a hand in my community.

In alignment with the Northwestern Mutual Foundation, The Alcantara Financial Group aims to improve the lives of children and families in need through financial support, volunteerism, thought leadership and collaboration with community partners.

Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Candlelighters Cancer Foundation & Alex's Lemonade Stand

They stand behind finding a cure for pediatric cancer, partnering with organizations such as Candlelighters Cancer Foundation of Nevada, a nonprofit organization that supports local families dealing with pediatric cancer, and Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a childhood cancer foundation dedicated to raising funds for research into new treatments and cures for all children battling cancer. These organizations are dedicated to alleviating the uncertainty and isolation felt by families facing childhood cancer through support, education, and services. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
