JJ Safranski

Ann was born and raised in Grand Forks, ND. Spending 5 years in Cedar Falls, Iowa attending the University of Northern Iowa where she played golf and earned a degree in Elementary Education. Ann moved back to Grand Forks to pursue her master's degree in Elementary Education where she met her husband, Danny, who is the offensive coordinator for the University of North Dakota football team. She spent 10 years as an elementary teacher prior to joining Northwestern Mutual in August of 2021. 

Ann and Danny reside in Grand Forks with their 3 children, Jocelyn, Tucker and Jillian. Together they enjoy spending time with their children, spending time in Bemidji, Minnesota in the summer and traveling to Wisconsin to visit family. 

Kelsie joined Northwestern Mutual in January of 2020 shortly after moving to Grand Forks. She is originally from McCook, Nebraska. A graduate of Wayne State College with a degree in Elementary Education she spent over 15 years in education as an elementary teacher and administrator. 

In 2019 she moved to Grand Forks with her husband, Paul who coaches at UND and their children, Sam and Becca. In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids compete in their activities, cheering on UND, time at the lake, traveling to spend time with family, live music and reading. 

Tierney joined our team in August of 2022, as Director of Recruitment. She also assists in Client Relation duties. Tierney is originally from Bismarck, ND. In Bismarck, she graduated from Century High School and continued her education at Bismarck State College where she graduated with an associate degree in Liberal Arts and Science. Tierney then transferred to the University of North Dakota to finish up her degree in Social Studies Educaiton with a minor in Sociology.

Tierney decided to stay and reside in Grand Forks. She enjoys attending UND sporting events, supporting as a proud Alumn. She also enjoys spending any time possible outdoors or staying active. As well as spending time with her two dogs.

Holly began her career with Northwestern Mutual in April 2016 working under Carmen Fore.  In April 2023, she joined the Safranski team.  Holly works with the new financial advisors, as well as interns, helping them to kickstart their career within the firm.  She is also the one who greets you as you walk in the door.

Holly grew up in Thief River Falls.  She has lived in the Grand Forks area for the last 7 years.  She enjoys gardening, traveling, attending UND sporting events, as well as concerts.  Her and her fiancé, Ben, like to fish, golf, and ride the trails in the woods.  She also loves to volunteer in all activities her daughter, Madysen, is a part of, especially Special Olympics and North Dakota Miss Amazing.  Along with 2 golden retrievers (Kewee & Wilma), she has 2 cats (Harry & Lloyd).
