A Little About Me

I believe curiosity is a great life-long trait to maintain, which goes hand-in-hand with keeping a set of varied interests. I enjoy traveling to discover new places and marvel at geographic and cultural differences, and yet, I see many similarities among people everywhere I go. I like to travel with my wife Sarah and my two children (now young adults). My passion is being a good husband and father.

I also have always enjoyed aviation; I earned my private pilot certificate at the age of 17 and recently decided to return to flying in 2023 after a 35-year hiatus. The last 5 years spurred me on to start building a homebuilt kit, which keeps me busy in my spare time. 

And if you have read this far, feel free to inquire as to when I’ll be done building the plane, but be forewarned; my answer is always “on Tuesday”. I just don’t know which Tuesday!

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
