About Jason
I was born and raised in Nebraska and grew up in Minden. After high school I attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology. While there I met my wonderful wife Misty. After completing our education, we settled down in Omaha.
We got married in June 2009 and have two very handsome sons, Jaxon and Kallen, who keep us busy and always entertained. I enjoy spending free-time with family and friends, love traveling, watching or attending sporting events, and am a big Chicago Cubs and Husker fan. Go Big Red!

I began my career as a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual in January 2012 and later went on to become a Top 10 College Unit Director (CUD).
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional. This certification is the standard of excellence in financial planning. As a CFP® Professional I have met rigorous education, training and ethical standards, and I am committed to serving my clients' best interests today to prepare them for a more secure tomorrow. I am also a Wealth Management Advisor and currently serve as the Disability Insurance Specialist for Nebraska.
I enjoy working with business owners, corporate executives, medical professionals, engineers, and business professionals in helping them achieve their financial goals. I currently advise clients in the Omaha area, in Nebraska, and throughout other areas of the country. Working with these individuals and their families to help ensure that their financial future is secure is a passion of mine that I enjoy doing every day.

The Salvation Army
In 1891, Salvation Army Captain Joseph McFee was distraught because so many poor individuals in San Francisco were going hungry. During the holiday season, he resolved to provide a free Christmas dinner for the destitute and poverty-stricken. As he pondered the issue, his thoughts drifted back to his sailor days in Liverpool, England. He remembered how at Stage Landing, where the boats came in, there was a large, iron kettle called "Simpson's Pot" into which passers-by tossed a coin or two to help the poor. The next day Captain McFee placed a similar pot at the Oakland Ferry Landing at the foot of Market Street. Beside the pot, he placed a sign that read, "Keep the Pot Boiling."

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
