Jack R Wambach
Financial Advisor|CFP®, CLU®
Personal
Jack Wambach’s calling to be a financial advisor is personal. Growing up in Palatine, Illinois he was seven years old when his father suddenly passed away. The oldest of four siblings, he saw first hand the impact the lack of financial planning had on his mother, brother and sisters. Today, he challenges clients to have the difficult conversations that lead to well-thought-out plans for the future.
A resident of Park Ridge, Jack has been married to his wife, Kim, since 2000 and they have two children, Grace and Jackson. His spare time is spent enjoying family life, playing golf and paddle tennis.
Professional
A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, Jack Wambach has built a financial planning practice partnering with individuals, closely held business owners and chiropractors. A proud graduate of Iowa State University, he continued his education to better serve clients by earning the CFP®, in addition to the CLU®, Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses.
He is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Roundtable and the recipient of the NAIFA Quality Award, which recognizes exceptional professionalism and service.
Northwestern Mutual has recognized him with numerous awards for comprehensive financial planning. In 2017 and then again in 2019, 2021 and 2022, he was inducted into the company’s elite membership, the Forum Group. Forum award qualifiers represent the top segment of Northwestern Mutual’s industry-leading financial advisors; only five percent of more than 6,000 financial advisors receive this recognition.
Lending a hand in my community.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
Jack is a member of the Northwestern Mutual-Chicago Philanthropic Childhood Cancer Impact Committee, which helps raise awareness and funding for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and provides support to Ronald McDonald House of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. In June 2018, Jack joined his fellow Northwestern Mutual – Chicago financial professionals and associates in raising over $95,000 to support Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research at the 4th Annual Golf Outing and Dinner Auction.

Chicago's Childhood Cancer Program
Every day, 720 kids are diagnosed with cancer. Northwestern Mutual is committed to giving all kids the chance to live life to the fullest by accelerating the search for a cure to pediatric cancer while providing support to families battling the disease and survivors struggling with treatment side effects.
Avenues to Independence
Jack is also a supporter of Avenues to Independence, which helps people with developmental disabilities live the lives they choose.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
