During Pride season in 2023, the LGBTQ+ author & consultant Rhodes Perry invited Belle as a guest on his Podcast, Belonging At Work. She is the first opening LGBTQ+ advisor in NM Boston’s history. Rhodes hits on topics like diversity retention, the economical side of inclusivity, and the importance to find a financial advisor that understands your identity.

Belle served as Co-Chair of the Planning Committee of Northwestern Mutual’s Regional Conference down in Orlando, Florida in February of 2024, with fellow Managing Director & Financial Advisor Kristopher Plog. She is looking forward to serving as Chair for the conference in 2025!
Guest Panel Speaker with Out In Finance
In March of 2024, Belle spoke on a panel with the organization, Out In Finance. In honor or Women's history month, the panel was focused on spotlighting queer-identifying and their stories around navigating their finance career's while being the "firsts" of many from a diversity lens. Belle was lucky to be joined by her coworker, DEI Mentor, and friend, Ann Noble, who was also featured on the panel!

In May of 2024, Belle spoke to advisors early in their career at Northwestern Mutual's Network Office Day. The presentation was titled 'Be Her' and revolved around needing to become someone you’re not in order to become the person you want to be. Every stage of this career is temporary. Our clients need us to be authentic with them, so they can be authentic with us!

Member of NM's Inaugural Pride Capstone Project
I am honored to be a member of the inaugural Pride Capstone Project class with Northwestern Mutual. A group of my peers and I are working on a capstone thesis that is focused on improving the development and retention experience of diverse advisors. In August, we present to a room of executives who we hope implement our programming and recommendations. The program kick off was March 2025 out in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!
