Professional
One of the unique things about my career is learning the dreams and goals of my clients. It is extremely rewarding to see those short and long term goals being met and sharing those moments with others is perhaps the best part of my career.
Trust, confidentiality, accountability, stewardship...these are all things I see less and less in our world, but are needed as much as ever. While they aren't earned quickly, they can be lost forever in an instant. I strive to foster long-term relationships built upon trust and accountability.
Personal
Having lived in Augusta for most of my life, I have seen this community grow tremendously over the years. I continue to be excited about the future of this area and would call upon my clients to not only take an interest in what is happening here, but to get actively involved. I feel it is our responsibility to give back to our community. This is a great place to live, raise a family and run a business!
I am married to Casie, and we have two sons, Jack and Joe. We enjoy all sports, being outside and traveling to our next adventure. We enjoy coaching the teams the boys are on, and supporting their activities. We also enjoy supporting whatever UGA teams are in season!
We are active at Warren Baptist and currently teach elementary Sunday School. We enjoy serving in this role and hope our encouragement and involvement will positively impact the next generation.
Lending a hand in my community.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Kingdom Here Ministries
I am a Kingdom Here Ministries, which is an inner city missions project. Starting in 2015, Kingdom Here shifted its focus to mentoring young boys at a downtown Augusta, GA school called Heritage. Currently, there are three groups of mentors that invest in the lives of boys grades 6-8. We are always eager to talk about this opportunity, so please ask me if you have any interest in volunteering.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
