Professional

In 2004, after 3 years of working in Corporate America, I never quite felt as though I was accomplishing something meaningful. I was looking for a career, not a job with a company that strived to make a positive impact on individual lives. I began to research a career in financial services and little did I know this was my first step in making a career change as a Northwestern Mutual Financial Advisor.

Personal

I live in Victor, NY with my daughter Gianna, and son Dominic; plus Lucy (the small but mighty canine), Daisy and Beatrice (the felines who do NOT get along), and Margo (the fish). Clearly this illustrates my inability to say no to my kids.

I love supporting the local artisans, wineries, breweries and musicians here in the Finger Lakes that allow me to connect with my family and friends.  I am environmentally aware and conscientious about leaving the world a better place through my daily decisions of use and reuse.  I recently bought my dream car - a Model Y Tesla, perfectly named, Wyatt.

I enjoy traveling as I seek to understand more of the world around me.  I consider myself pretty fearless in my travels, and can proudly say I took a solo safari trip to Kenya--It truly was a life changing experience. Next to check off my bucket list will be learning how to speak Italian.

I love to exercise as a way to keep myself sane through my morning workouts on my Peloton bike, practicing yoga (most often around Noon), or taking a run. The rest of my down time is often spent acting as my kids’ personal Uber driver, commonly referred to as Muber. My calendar is often full, but I strive to live my best life each and every day with optimism and with a smile on my face.

Lending a hand in my community.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
