Personal
Growing up I am exposed to both business and the medical world. My mother was a Registered Nurse and my father own and runs a family business. Convinced to follow my mom, I enrolled myself to take Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.
In my early 20s, as part of a graduation gift from my parents, I visited the United States. That was the time when my eyes were opened to the challenges and opportunities on most immigrants here and decided to make my stay permanent.
I started my career here in the US as a Medical Technologist in Georgia, and later-on, New York. However, the calling of the business world is getting louder, and eventually, I found my way to Northwestern Mutual in 2013. After deliberate research, several interviews and lots of prayers, I finally decided to represent Northwestern Mutual. I fell in love with the company and its philosophy of enriching people’s lives by helping to secure their financial well-being; ultimately achieving the American Dream. I believe that trial and error strategy is not an efficient way to get to our financial goals.
My team and I are involved in a couple of fundraising efforts like Alex's Lemonade Stand and American Heart Association, to name a few. I serve as a member of financial board in local churches and as a lector. I serve and I’m also part of the board in Asian financial advisors in national level.
I enjoy visiting my family back in the Philippines and travelling the world as time allows. Jasmin and I reside in Niskayuna, NY with my mother in law, and our pets, Julia and Toffee.
Lending a hand in my community.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Albany Medical Center
Together with my team and our families, we have announced a $30,000 donation to The Massry Family Children’s Emergency Center at Albany Med, the region’s only pediatric emergency department. We are pleased to support Albany Med’s efforts to focus on the importance of addressing the needs of the children who will, one day, become the backbone of the nation. This donation connects with our continued desire to give back to the community that has embraced us.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
