After 12 years of corporate business with both a Fortune 100 company and an international technology company, John wanted a career that would allow him to build lasting relationships with people in and around his community. John, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Professional and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), now helps people implement specific solutions to achieve their wealth accumulation goals and financial security needs. He is passionate about his involvement in the community having served as a member on the Board of Directors and former chair of the Tocqueville Society for United Way of Greenville County, the past president of Greenville Estate Planning Council, a former executive member of the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball and the past president of Northwestern Mutual’s Managing Directors Association. In 2014, John was awarded the Community Service Award by the Northwestern Mutual Foundation for his work with the Center for Developmental Services.

Rebekah joined the team in 2022 with more than 20 years of Executive Assistant experience in the International Tourism, Accounting, and Wealth Management fields.  She is dedicated to contributing to the elevated client experience on the administrative side, day to day business operations, and long-term business development planning.

As a transplant from Honolulu, Hawaii, she looks forward to experiencing the four seasons each year.  Giving back, while fostering a safe and positive environment for the community, is the focus for Rebekah outside of work.  She is a founding member and current chair of Korean Adoptees Association of SC (KAASC), the Executive Director of The Korea Center of Greenville, and volunteers at local soup kitchens, domestic violence shelters, and Special Olympics.

Born and raised in Saratoga Springs, New York. I am a Senior pursuing a business administration degree with a track in finance. I joined the team to help emphasize the importance of building relationships with clients and helping ones in need.  I have played Ice Hockey and lacrosse my entire life and am an avid sports fan. I love to golf, read about investments by analyzing data during my free time, and play pick-up basketball. I love to go on Vacation, and my favorite vacation destination is Hawaii. This trip has strengthened my passion for surfing and snorkeling, where I one day want to snorkel the islands of Bora Bora.

In 2022, he joined forces with longtime colleague, Adam Sinoff, and together cofounded Armstrong & Sinoff Financial, expanding the financial services legacy Paul built with his father.

Paul maintains a deep specialization in retirement income distribution strategies, wealth management and wealth preservation planning. Brett is a West Point graduate and served at Fort Bragg, NC. He obtained an MBA from the University of Chicago and was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

With 25 years of experience guiding clients in the areas of wealth protection, accumulation, and distribution strategies, Thomas strives to provide a deep sense of security and contentment for the people he serves.

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Thomas graduated from Wofford College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in history. He joined Northwestern Mutual in 2015 and now enjoys living and working in Greenville, South Carolina. In 2009, Thomas was awarded The Order of the Palmetto by Governor Mark Sanford. This award is considered the highest honor a citizen of the state can receive, and it recognizes the achievements and contributions made throughout the recipient’s lifetime.

Thomas and his wife Amy have three daughters: Caroline, Roe, and Elizabeth. He serves on several nonprofit boards including The Roe Foundation and is the Board Chair of Neighborhood Focus. He also served as an elder at First Presbyterian Church and as the treasurer of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra.

Jay founded a successful wealth management practice in 2002, which he merged with McBee Avenue Wealth Advisors in 2020. He serves as a partner and dedicated Private Wealth Advisor, helping clients gain confidence about their wealth by guiding them through their financial plans.

Jay is originally from Huntington, West Virginia, and he moved to Greenville to attend Furman University. Shortly after he graduated in 2001, he began his career as a third-generation Northwestern Mutual Advisor. Jay, his father, and his grandfather combined have served with NM for more than 100 years.

Jay and his wife Betsy married in 2002 and they have six children: Catherine, Will, Anna, James, Elizabeth, and Ben. Jay is an elder at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church and is active in orphan ministry through Miracle Hill. He enjoys exercising, reading, music, and all types of sports.
