About Douglas

Douglas graduated from Ithaca College, School of Business, in 1986. He is named on their Dean's list for his academic achievements. Directly after graduation, he became affiliated with a highly regarded Insurance and Annuity Company where he earned his Insurance and Investment licenses. Over a 10 year affiliation, Douglas earned his Certified Life Insurance Underwriter designation (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant designation (CHFC) and a Master of Science degree in Finance (MSFS).          

As he aspired to offer a wider variety of Investments, in 1996 Douglas joined Northwestern Mutual. In 2003, as one of our leading Investment producers, he accepted the position of Senior Investment Specialist. As Specialist, he was  responsible for investment training and oversight of over 100 licensed Financial Representatives at our midtown Manhattan branch. In 2016, Douglas founded Keller Financial Solutions (KFS). KFS is housed inside our midtown branch and specializes in High-Net-Worth Portfolio Management. Douglas is currently Investment licensed in 24 States and and is consistently recognized as a Top-Advisor nationally.      

Douglas is proud to have had the opportunity to serve on the Board of The Worldwide Children's Foundation (WWCF), a non-profit organization. The Board consists of Financial and Medical professionals who come together to help children in need of medical procedures. He is one of a select few Financial Advisors to become an "Instructor" for NY Dept of Financial Services Continuing Education (CE) program. Douglas gives back to his Profession by guest lecturing at local industry events and is a supporting Member of the NYC Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NYCAIFA).
