Giving Back to Our Community
Dominic and Laura have been blessed in many ways. We are committed to sharing our resources with others in need, promoting education for the next generation, and supporting our faith community. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
University of Dallas
We met while attending UD, a local Catholic university with a classical liberal arts curriculum and a popular Rome program; we give back in gratitude for the generous scholarships we received and to help future students experience a wonderful education. Besides the Cor Fund, we also support the Church of the Incarnation and the Marilyn Walker Music Endowment.

Saint Peter Organ Project
Having been married at Saint Peter Church in Omaha and as alumni of the choir there, we regularly provide support towards a much needed new organ along with parish efforts to serve the disadvantaged through the local St. Vincent de Paul council.

Mater Dei Parish Capital Campaign
Dominic's childhood parish is greatly in need of a new church to accommodate rapid growth, so we have been contributing to the building fund for several years.

St. Francis Montessori School
Many children in our community are delighted to be able to attend St Francis, which relies on fundraising to remain affordable for families, so we are happy to give towards this cause.

Empowering Young Moms in Zambia
One of our sisters lived in Zambia twice as a volunteer at a Salesian home for girls from troubled families. She continues to organize support for some of these young women who have since become mothers. We give to this mission so they can afford to raise their children and receive an education to rise out of poverty.

White Rose Women's Center
The White Rose is a clinic in Dallas that provides support, education and medical services for women facing unplanned pregnancies.

Heroic Media
This is a local organization which uses internet search-based marketing to connect women with life-affirming pregnancy resource centers across the country.

Sidewalk Advocates for Life
Another local organization with a national presence, SAFL trains and equips volunteers to serve on the streets providing counseling to pregnant women and abortion workers.

Thomas More Society
The Thomas More Society is a leading nonprofit public interest law firm championing Life, Family, and Freedom.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
