Dipti Krishnan
Financial Advisor|M.S., ALMI
Meet Dipti
I'm Dipti, a Financial Advisor with a unique journey and a deep desire to empower other successful professionals, business owners and diverse families to find financial freedom. I was born and raised in India and made the courageous decision to move to the US in year 2000 along with my husband. It wasn't easy leaving behind my family, friends, and familiar surroundings, but it led to tremendous personal growth and opened new opportunities for us.
As we embarked on this adventure, I realized the importance of taking risks and stepping out of my comfort zone. Even though I was already fluent in English, adapting to the differences in accent and cultural nuances was a learning experience. These subtle nuances reminded me of how small details can have a significant impact, just like how we handle our finances. Living in Wisconsin, where the weather was far colder than what I was accustomed to, my warm personality helped me naturally connect with new friends.
By showcasing my success as a female Asian Financial Advisor, I aim to inspire other women and successful professionals to take control of their finances and embrace financial independence. I understand the uncertainties that come with relocation, being a minority, and making major life transitions, and I'm here to help others navigate their own unique journeys.
Word for the Year: Growth
Core Values: Family, Faith, Integrity, Trust
When I'm not working, you'll find me volunteering in the community, exploring diverse cultures through travel, and sharing my knowledge of Indian classical dance with young children. I live in Brookfield with my husband and our two children.

My Mission and Journey
To make a positive difference in people's lives by building strong long-term relationships and helping them achieve financial security and prosperity.
During our early years in the US, my family and I were fortunate to have a solid financial plan and ongoing guidance from an advisor. This foundation gave us the freedom and comfort to pursue our dreams, including my decision to leave Northwestern Mutual corporate to start my own business. Witnessing the sudden loss of a close friend's spouse made me reflect on the importance of financial security. It ignited my passion to educate more immigrants about the need for comprehensive financial planning. I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
As an immigrant, wife, mother, corporate leader, and now an advisor with my own business, I've experienced firsthand how life experiences shape our decisions, both positively and negatively. I leverage these experiences to help my clients understand their own unique stories and identify barriers that might be holding them back from achieving financial security. Together, we create personalized plans that aim to accomplish audacious goals.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
