David McArthur is one of Northwestern Mutual's rising
stars. His practice at Northwestern Mutual is adept at
enhancing financial strategies for families who are
focused on advancing their careers and lifestyles. David
teaches his clients to tailor their finances by design
rather than default using comprehensive financial
advising. He has had an eclectic background ranging
from being a practitioner in Orthotic and Prosthetics to
Medical Sales to being a business owner and financial
advisor. He studied at Roanoke College in Salem, VA
earning a degree in philosophy with a minor in religion.
David's free time is centered around travel and
activities with his kids and wife, watching international
sporting events, and absorbing as much local culture as
possible, but he gets excited most about all things
soccer.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.
