Dave has been married to Patti since 1997 and they have three children, Sadie, Josie, and Gavin.
As a former collegiate football player and lifelong athlete, Dave understands that achieving the highest level of success requires discipline, training, and focus. He brings this athlete's mindset to the work he does every day.
Dave attended Saint Xavier University on a football scholarship where he excelled both on the field and in the classroom, and was rewarded for his dedication and hard work by being named to the 1995 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Academic All-American Team.
He was named the Northwestern Mutual Chicago Network office's 1997 Rookie of the Year and also received Northwestern Mutual's Regional New Financial Representative Award for several years in various categories: Bronze (2nd place - 1997), Silver (2nd place - 1998), Gold (1st place - 1999), and Platinum (1st place - 2000).
Dave is a 6 time qualifier of the elite Northwestern Mutual Forum, which represents the top three percent of Northwestern Mutual Advisors.
In 2007, Dave received his CLU® designation from The American College.

Parkview Christian Church
Parkview Christian Church has three primary aims: "Reach people with God's love. Raise them to be like Jesus. Release them to change the world." My family and I call Parkview Christian Church our home church in the Chicago area.
Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church
I spend several months out of the year working from an office in Southern California, which allows our family to visit our daughters in San Diego and stay at our home in Palm Desert. When we visit, we attend Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church.
Brother Rice High School
Brother Rice High School is a Catholic, Chicago-based preparatory school for boys. My wife and I are donors to the high school and our son is a current Brother Rice student.
Point Loma Nazarene University
Point Loma Nazarene University is a Christian liberal arts college in San Diego, CA. My wife and I are donors to the university and our oldest daughter is a current Point Loma Nazarene University student.
University of San Diego
The University of San Diego is a contemporary Catholic university in San Diego, CA. My wife and I are donors to the university and our youngest daughter is a current University of San Diego student.
Christ Community Church
Christ Community Church exists "to help you live and love like Jesus in your community." I served on the Board of Directors of the church.
