Professional

Colby graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree. He continued his education at American College to receive his RICP and WMCP  designations. Colby was introduced to Northwestern Mutual through his own advisor. After having much appreciation for the company and the direction it gave his family, Colby decided to start his career as a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual in 2014. Colby primarily focuses on business owners and executive level professionals. He received the Leading 2nd Year Financial Advisor in 2016 and the New Client Leader of the Dallas Agency in 2017. He enjoys pouring the knowledge he has gained from his experience into the new advisors who are beginning their career. Colby continues to excel in his business and strives to provide the best experience for his clients.

Personal

Colby grew up in Mount Vernon, TX and currently resides in Longview, TX with his wife, Whitney, along with his daughter, Corah, and son, William. When he is not in the office, he enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Lending a hand in my community.

Colby is very active in his community and has a passion for giving back and volunteering. He and his family are members and serve at New Beginnings Baptist Church. Colby also shows support as a board member of Finn's Friends and his involvement at Texas Baptist Home for Children.

Finn's Friends

Finn’s Friends is a non-profit that is dedicated finding a cure and helping other families that are also battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy by fundraising and hosting events. Finn's Friends has also joined the efforts of two non-profits in the Duchenne community to help with family assistance programs, and to fund cutting edge research, therapy trials and Dr. Wong’s programs at UMass.
