Cody Scott Allison

Cody Allison joined Northwestern Mutual in January 2013 as a Financial Representative Intern while attending college at the University of Maryland. Cody was successful in his internship and earned the distinction of being named the top Northwestern Mutual intern in the mid-Atlantic offices. This internship solidified his interest in financial services, and Cody knew that he had chosen the right career. After graduating from the Smith School of Business at UMD in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and a specialization in entrepreneurship, Cody became a full-time Financial Advisor.

In his time as a Wealth Management Advisor with Northwestern Mutual, Cody has helped many people achieve greater financial security through customized, holistic financial planning. Cody specializes in working with families and businesses throughout DMV area, but also has clients located across the country. Cody holds his Maryland Life & Health Insurance certifications as well as his Series 7 and 66/63 Securities Licenses, making him well-equipped to serve his clients. He has a commitment to continuing education and professionalism and also holds his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations.

Cody is a Maryland native and when he is not helping his clients he enjoys spending time on the water and traveling the world.
