Cindy Arocho is a passionate advocate for improving people's lives and helping them achieve financial success. You can unlock your full potential and achieve your goals with her and her team's support.
They believe that financial education is vital to unlocking your potential. Let Cindy and her team help you achieve your aspirations, and we'll be there to guide you every step of the way.
Leadership gurus and business moguls alike will tell their captive followers the importance of knowing their “why.” Why do you do what you do? Why do you get up and go to work every day? Simon Sinek says, “The why provides focus, direction, meaning, and confidence.” Cindy Arocho knows her why, and it’s evident in the way she carries herself and conducts business.
“I know why I’m here. I’m here to change the face of financial planning as a woman.”
Only 11% of all financial advisors in the United States are women. A study conducted by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards “describes the paucity of women financial advisers as a ‘feminine famine.’ That percentage is even lower for minority women.
“I’m here to help other women know this is possible for them.”
Inspired by Always's “Like a Girl” campaign, Cindy personalized the concept and started the movement #PlanLikeAGirl.
What started as an in-office and local movement eventually found its way to the national Northwestern Mutual stage at the annual meeting. #PlanLikeAGirl T-shirts now sell in the NW Mutual online store, and all the profits go to support a non-profit called Wrestle Like A Girl.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
