Professional

With more than a decade of experience in the wealth management and financial planning business at Northwestern Mutual, Charlie Wroblewski has a unique combination of expertise, longevity, and runway to serve clients and their families at a high level for decades to come. His team manages over 450 client relationships, and he continues building that business with a practice based on loyalty and follow-through – a must when he is regularly the first call clients make in the face of major life events.

Thus, offering balanced, pragmatic advice during often emotional times, while focusing on collaboration and long-term goals, is a core tenet of Charlie’s practice. He takes a collaborative and goal-oriented approach to financial planning, focusing on flexibility and control over assets with tax-sensitivity to maximize outcomes. As a CFP professional, he uses his wholistic expertise to build dynamic plans to serve clients throughout all phases of their lives.

Coupling this tailored, personal approach with Northwestern Mutual’s institutional power, we utilize institutional investment management by coordinating asset allocation across mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and individual stocks. In the alternative space, we have access to a unique suite of private equity, private real estate, and hedge fund opportunities directly through NM and with a variety of third-party relationships. Charlie's practice incorporates investment management in the qualified retirement plan space, as well as the after-tax market. Additionally, we help clients find insurance products with the highest possible financial strength ratings. We have access to the entire industry of such products and hold an exclusive contract to utilize NM’s products, which are widely regarded as the best in the industry. Generally, our work in the risk space focuses on life insurance, long-term care insurance, and annuities.

Personal

Charlie and his wife, Chrissy, live in Whitefish Bay with their son, Jack. They love enjoying their neighborhood on family walks and golfing together. In the summertime you can find them up in Green Lake if they aren't on a golf course somewhere in Southeastern Wisconsin.

They attend Saint Monica Church and serve on the board of The McKey Christmas Club, which is one of their favorite community traditions. Their extended families are both in the Greater Milwaukee area, and they enjoy spending as much time as possible together.

Charlie is an avid Brewers, Packers, and Bucks fan. Charlie and Chrissy are loyal to the Big East for his beloved Butler Bulldogs and her Marquette Golden Eagles. They hope to bump into you cheering on these teams sometime soon!

As part of Northwestern Mutual, we're proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why we're happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
