Chad Stubenbort
Chad joined Northwestern Mutual in 2012 after graduating from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a qualifier for the Million Dollar Round Table and has been awarded Northwestern Mutual's Life Impact Award. In order to better serve you, Chad completed Duquesne University's Executive Certificate in Financial Planning postgraduate program.
When Chad is not working hard to help his clients reach their goals, he enjoys nothing more than raising and spending quality time with his 3-year-old daughter Gracie. They enjoy several trips to Walt Disney World annually and have made it a goal to visit all 6 Disney resorts (Florida, California, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong, and Shanghai) within the next 3 years. They are avid Pittsburgh sports fans and Gracie can often be found on TV during Pittsburgh Pirates games or in their promotional ads. A competitive wrestler in his youth and throughout college, nowadays he enjoys competing in full and half marathons, as well as more sane hobbies like golfing and playing poker. Additionally, Chad is an avid traveler and hopes to share his love of international traveling with Gracie this year.
Three other areas that are central to Chad's life are faith, family, and service. Chad and Gracie attend Calvary Lutheran Church in Murrysville, PA. Chad and Gracie enjoy weekly dinner and Disney movie night at his parents Joe and Stephanie's every Monday and making lasting memories with his three older siblings and their families at their annual family vacation to Hilton Head.
Lending a hand in my community.
As for service, Chad loves giving back to his community. Chad previously served, in what seems like a past life, as: President and Vice President of the Gateway School Board, Vice President and volunteer firefighter and EMT at Monroeville Vol. Fire Department, Chair of the Monroeville Republican Committee, and Vice Chair of the Gateway Education Foundation. Chad currently serves on the Calvary Early Learning Center's School Board.
Gateway School Board - President
Chad was elected to his alma mater, Gateway School District's School Board. He was the overall top vote getter and was elected by his fellow board members to serve as the President of the Board. With Chad's leadership the board was able to balance a $70million budget with no tax increases while returning Gateway High School to the U.S. News & World Report's "Best High Schools in the U.S." list. Chad served his elected term of 4 years and chose not to run again after his term had expired.
Gateway Education Foundation - Vice Chair
The Gateway Education Foundation enhanced the learning and student achievement by promoting community support for excellence in education and by facilitating academic endeavors that improved the lives of students and teachers while enriching the educational experience.
Monroeville Volunteer Fire Company #1
Chad Stubenbort joined Monroeville Vol. Fire Co. #1 when he was just 15 years old. He went on to get certification to be both a firefighter and an E.M.T. He served as the Vice President of the Company for 5 years until his departure from the Company in 2017.
Calvary Early Learning Center School Board
Chad decided to put his experience from being the President of the Gateway School Board to use in serving on the School Board for the CELC. CELC is a preschool and kindergarten program affiliated with his Church, Calvary Lutheran.
