Professional

Brian Hope, Financial Advisor, and Co-Founder of Two Rivers Wealth, a Subsidiary of Northwestern Mutual-New Orleans.

Brian attended Northwestern State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Before starting his practice with Northwestern Mutual, Brian was employed as a Registered Nurse at Lousiana Health Sciences Center, a level one trauma center. At LSUHSC, Brian worked in  Trauma Surgery, the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit. During his tenure there, he received his Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse and Certified Neurosurgical Registered Nurse accreditations. The transition of a career change was somewhat easy for Brian as he still continues to help people, just in a different way.

Brian joined Northwestern Mutual in 2013 and specializes in risk management and wealth accumulation. He works closely with medical and legal professionals, business owners, and established families, to devise a plan towards achieving financial security.

In 2019 a new chapter opened in his practice, Two Rivers Wealth. Brian and Erik Hsu have worked together at Northwestern Mutual for the past twelve years. They came together around a shared vision to build a firm with the values, expertise, and longevity to serve the evolving needs of their clients and families for generations to come.

Brian was born and raised in the Shreveport-Bossier City area and currently resides in Benton with his beautiful wife, Ginger, and three children; Hali, Dayton, and Autumn. They attend St. Jude Catholic Church in Benton and Brian is deeply involved with the Northwest Louisiana ACTS movement and other small faith-sharing groups in the community. Brian is a sports fanatic and loves anything to do with the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. From tournament fishing to bow hunting, Brian travels the Midwest and southern regions chasing trophy bass and whitetail.

Lending a hand in my community.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
