Professional

As a Wealth Management Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, I strive to help clients live their best lives now. I consider myself a true partner and advocate for my clients, building a financial plan that will provide clarity and confidence that extends to all areas of their lives. When people say, “Things are fine,” my usual response is, “Can we make them great?”

My team’s mission is to sincerely help people through simplicity. By asking thoughtful questions, we are able to distill the complexities of the financial services industry into applicable recommendations for each unique scenario shared with us.

Our practice is committed to helping great people achieve their dreams of financial security and independence. We spend our time and energy working with people who value a comprehensive approach to financial planning and want the comfort of knowing they are receiving the best advice with the best service.

Personal

I am a Pennsylvania native who transplanted to Maryland after graduating from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science degree. My wife Kathy and I have been married for over 19 years and have five amazing children ages 10-10-13-13-16.

When not helping my clients create financial security, I love spending time with my family, coaching soccer, volunteering my time and traveling. We like to explore places we've never been and spend as much time outdoors as possible.

I believe that life should be lived fully.  My faith and family drive me to want to make an impact in my community and on those I serve.  I believe that it costs nothing to be kind and that it's important to do what you say you're going to do.

Give where you live

With 5 young, active children Kathy and I stay involved in the community through coaching and participating in a variety of school related events.  I support the Anne Arundel County Foodbank where our mission is to make sure no one in the county goes hungry.

I proudly support Smile Train, the National Park Foundation, Wounded Warrior Foundation and other local organizations as the need arises.  I also believe that if you have something that is not being used, someone, somewhere could be benefitting from it.

As a Financial Planner, I can wear a lot of hats and talk to a great many strategies.  The list below is where my team and I do our best work but is not a limit on what we can do.  As part of Northwestern Mutual I have access to specialists in all areas of planning from around the country and can tap into that resource for the benefit of my clients.  It's one of the reasons I chose to build my practice with Northwestern Mutual instead of anywhere else.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
