I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. My wife Kris and I have lived in the Madison area since 1995, and it has become our adopted home. We have a son named Austin and a daughter named Kacy.

We enjoy great friends and family, great food, and great wine. Kris and I are developing new hobbies and passions as I transition from over a decade of coaching Austin and Kacy in baseball, softball, football, and basketball.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

I started my career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse in Houston. I achieved my CPA designation, and continued my accounting career with Fortune 500 companies such as Baker Hughes, Sysco Corporation, and Thermo Electron. I held a variety of positions, including International Accountant, Accounting Manager, Internal Audit, Operations Review, Controller, and Director of Finance.

After 12 years in the accounting profession, I was looking for a new challenge. I wanted a career that would allow me to have a more meaningful impact on people's lives, and would allow me to more fully utilize my skills. By fate, I met a representative with the Northwestern Mutual who introduced me to this career.

I truly feel that I have now found my calling. I love meeting new clients and developing those relationships. I love helping my clients achieve their goals, and working with them over time as we both grow together. I love knowing that I provide my clients with the peace of mind that they are on a track to achieve their goals.
