Becky is passionate about providing the best strategies for her clients and demonstrates her passion through continued education. Through Becky's career, she has obtained the following financial planning designations:
- CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional: Bringing all the pieces of your financial life together is a challenging task. Today, more than ever, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals are an essential resource. From budgeting to planning for retirement, to saving for education, to managing your insurance coverage. “Finances” doesn’t mean just one thing for most Americans — and “financial planning” means much more than just investing. CFP® professionals have completed extensive training and experience requirements and are held to rigorous ethical standards. They understand the complexities of the changing financial climate and will make recommendations in your best interest.
- The Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS): provides advisors with advanced training in financial planning. The two-year program focuses on developing a broad knowledge base in various planning topics, while simultaneously cultivating applied knowledge through collaborative case study, research, and integrated planning. A refreshing perspective was cultivated and shared during peer-reviewed op-eds and discussions throughout the program. Courses that dove deeply into the psychology of planning, such as Behavioral Finance and Generational Wealth Transfer & Management, were particularly transformative to how I now approach financial planning.
- Master of Science in Financial Planning - Philanthropy (MSFPP): This master's degree brings specialized knowledge in aligning financial strategies with legacy planning and charitable giving, enhancing clients' ability to make a positive impact while managing wealth.
- Master of Science in Financial Planning – Retirement (MSFPR): This master's degree signifies expertise in strategic retirement planning, allowing clients to navigate retirement saving and distribution complexities with a tailored and well-informed approach.
- The Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®): designation is a graduate level specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning. It is awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) to estate planning professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education professional reputation, and character.
- The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®): designation provides full time philanthropists, coordinators, and wealth advisors with a common body of knowledge and a shared credential, enabling them to collaborate effectively with clients on legacy planning. The cross-disciplinary workplace curriculum spans and synthesizes the arts and sciences of philanthropic planning, including taxation, finance, fundraising, purposeful planning, family office dynamics, psychology, and strategic philanthropy.
- Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®): The ChFC® program provides the most current and comprehensive financial planning education by combining the key financial planning fundamentals, with practical applications to put those theories to work. With content in the curriculum that addresses topics such as behavioral finance, special needs planning, small business planning, financial planning for clients in the LGBT community, financial planning for divorce complexities, and more, ChFC® designees are trained to masterfully handle a wide variety of modern financial topics.
- Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®): The CLU® is the premier designation for insurance professionals. Launched in 1927, the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) is the insurance profession's oldest standard of excellence. Today, it continues to be the credential for practitioners who desire to provide their clients with the security of life insurance and risk management. Since its inception, tens of thousands of financial services professionals have obtained this prestigious designation. With particular emphasis placed on ethics and commitment to clients, the CLU® has earned a distinguished reputation backed by security and stewardship.
- Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®): A properly planned retirement can be the difference between years of hardship and years of relaxation. As a retirement income planner designee, it’s my responsibility to provide my clients with the guidance needed to make fruitful decisions that can support you and your families in the long run. Offered exclusively through The American College, the RICP® designation involves completing three in-depth courses covering the full retirement planning process.
- Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®): Widely adopted across the broad spectrum of financial services, the CASL® five-course curriculum prepares the financial professional to lead clients from middle age through retirement and assist them with the management, preservation, and transfer of wealth.
- Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF): LUTCFs are well-versed in a variety of life insurance products as well as how to educate others on them. LUTCF holders help clients including those who are single, in a dual-parent or single-parent household or same-sex marriage choose the right life insurance plans. They also assist with disability income insurance and long-term care.
- Certification for Long-Term Care (CLTC®): This designation not only educates professionals about the consequences a need for care over an extended period of years would have but on the emotional, physical, and wellbeing of those the client loves. The goal of this designation is to provide the proper skill set to discuss those consequences, offer a plan to mitigate them, and when appropriate, recommend Long-Term Care as a funding source for that plan.
