Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15. ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual has donated more than $20 million to support ALSF. Locally, our office is proud to host events such as our annual Lemon Drop Cocktail Party and lemonade stands to raise money that will go toward changing the lives of children with cancer.

VetsNet Wisconsin Veterans Network
VetsNet Success Story
VetsNet is a nonprofit organization staffed by veterans and serve veterans. It bridges a major gap in the veterans benefit system: identifying and connecting at-risk veterans and veterans in need. They help with emergency relief, rehousing, benefits counseling, financial counseling, substance abuse assistance, mental health care, legal assistance, relationship counseling, employment counseling, job training and placement.

The Foundation is also recognizing eight offices nationwide that have gone above and beyond to fund critical research and support children and families affected by the disease. Through the 2020 Childhood Cancer Impact Awards, the Foundation has donated more than $345,000 in grants to nonprofit partners on behalf of the 2020 award recipients.
