Managing Partner

Steven Trujillo joined Northwestern Mutual in 2009 as a financial representative and was recognized for numerous achievements and awards. In 2015, he was appointed Managing Director of the New Mexico/West Texas office. The Trujillo District quickly became the fastest growing District in the company. In March of 2020, Steven and his family moved to Seattle; where he was appointed Associate Managing Partner for the Puget Sound Network Office. In the beginning of 2022, Steven Trujillo will start his journey as the next Managing Partner of the Puget Sound Network Office! Steven loves to spend time with his wife Janelle, his two daughters Alexus and Nadia, and his son Esteban.

Hi! My name is Blake Ozuna I am a native of Seattle and I am engaged to my fiancé, Anna. I have been with Northwestern Mutual for 5 years I love the work of helping individuals and couples reach financial independence. Having a deep understanding of my clients needs is the most important thing to me in building the most comprehensive financial plan possible. I run my practice on my two most important values, Trust & Transparency. In my free time, I love playing and watching any and all sports, running around the trails in Seattle, and spending time with my family that all still live in the Seattle area. I am a proud alumni of Washington State University. Go Cougs! Looking forward to connect.

Thomas is a dedicated leader focused on driving growth at Northwestern Mutual's Tacoma Office. He began with Northwestern Mutual in 2020 as a Financial Representative. After a successful first year, Thomas quickly rose to leadership roles, becoming Managing Director. Before Northwestern Mutual, Thomas excelled in competitive swimming, breaking 17 state records, 5 national age group records, and earning multiple NCAA All-American honors at the University of Arizona. His athletic background instilled a relentless pursuit of excellence and personal development. As Managing Director, Thomas has been key in recruiting and developing new advisors and fostering a planning first mindset. His leadership has transformed the Tacoma office into a thriving District Office, poised for continued success. Outside of work, Thomas enjoys golfing, traveling, and savoring a good dram of scotch.

Chief Supervision Officer

Mark is the Chief Officer of Supervision for Northwestern Mutual-Puget Sound. In his role, Mark serves as the leader of the Supervision and Compliance team working with the financial representatives and their teams to provide support and guidance on regulatory compliance. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. Mark lives in Snoqualmie with his wife Alison, daughter Ellie and son Blake. Mark enjoys playing golf, and the active lifestyle that Western Washington offers him and his family.
