Blake Gunderson
Managing Director
Blake grew up in Rockwall, TX and graduated from Rockwall Heath High School. He later attended The University of Arkansas where he played football. He graduated with a degree in Business Management in 2012 and has been with Northwestern Mutual ever since. Blake holds the series 6 and 63 registrations. Blake's goal as a Financial Advisor has always been to impact his clients, team and fellow advisors. He feels that God has gifted him with the ability to communicate effectively and with conviction. Those abilities have allowed him to help generations of clients and other advisors. His job and calling has always been to help each individual discover what financial security means to them. Blake is married to his high school sweetheart, Casey, and they now have two boys - Owen and Tate. In his spare time, Blake enjoys spending time with his family, traveling with Casey, playing golf, and coaching the boys' sports teams.
Emily Jeffers
Director of Operations
Emily grew up in Richardson, Texas and currently resides in Rockwall with her husband, Jackson. Before transitioning to the financial services industry, she built a career in restaurant management and customer service. This background has been instrumental in her current role as the Director of Operations and Development for Rockwall | East Texas. Emily is a vital part of the Gunderson Team! Emma Horvath
Director of Selection
Emma was born and raised in Rockwall, Texas. She attended Rockwall Heath High School and then went on to graduate with a degree in Business Management & Marketing from the University of Oklahoma. After graduation, she moved back to her hometown and joined Blake's team as the Director of Selection for Rockwall and East Texas. In her spare time, Emma enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Emma plays a crucial role in building our offices! Colby Dickson

Wealth Management Advisor
Colby graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree. He continued his education at American College to receive his RICP and WMCP designations. Colby was introduced to Northwestern Mutual through his own advisor. After having much appreciation for the company and the direction it gave his family, Colby decided to start his career as a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual in 2014. Colby primarily focuses on business owners and executive level professionals. He received the Leading 2nd Year Financial Advisor in 2016 and the New Client Leader of the Dallas Agency in 2017. He enjoys pouring the knowledge he has gained from his experience into the new advisors who are beginning their career. Colby continues to excel in his business and strives to provide the best experience for his clients.

Grant Buckholt

I was born and raised in Rockwall, Texas. After high school, I was given the opportunity to further my football career at the United States Air Force Academy. Injury forced me out of football, but I left the service academy experiencing the highest standards of respect, integrity, hard work and professionalism. I continued my education at the University of North Texas. After graduating from UNT, with a degree in Finance, I accepted an internship with Northwestern Mutual-DFW. This is where I found my passion and my mission began to take shape. Northwestern Mutual has been life changing for me. I am honored to take great care of my clients and give them financial peace of mind. Northwestern Mutual is also where I met my beautiful wife Kassidy. We are excited to be back in my hometown of Rockwall where we plan on raising our children with the help of a wonderful extended family.
