Ryan McKenna
CLU®, CFP®, RICP®
Wealth Management Advisor
Ryan McKenna is the Managing Director of the Northwestern Mutual South Hills. He oversees the recruiting, selection and development of new financial advisors and representatives, and the highly recognized year-round internship program. Ryan is also a CFP® professional, he helps highly driven clients put together their first financial plan and those in, or near retirement, to fully assess their situation in the critical distribution phase of life. Ryan and his team go beyond basic planning to incorporate a more holistic approach; for example: addressing student loans, budgeting strategies, social security choices, the need for a will and creating multiple differentiated buckets of savings. Ryan is highly passionate about helping his office grow through successful advisors and the impact that can have on our clients in the community. On the weekend, Ryan enjoys spending quality time with his wife Erin and two daughters.
Robert Brown
Financial Advisor
Bobby Brown grew up in Moon Township, PA with his parents and three younger brothers. He is a graduate of Slippery Rock University where he earned a B.S in Business Administration concentrating in Marketing. Bobby’s passion is helping his clients develop their personalized financial plans, so they can find satisfaction in knowing they are on track for their goals and objectives. Outside of running his practice, Bobby and his wife, Coryn enjoy working out together, traveling, spending time with family, and will be starting a family of their own in the near future.
Bethany Kirkwood
Director of Recruitment and Development
Bethany started her career with Northwestern Mutual as a College Financial Representative in the fall of 2013. Quickly excelling in this role, she took on a leadership position as team captain in the program. Once graduating from Slippery Rock University in December of 2015, with her BSBA in Marketing, Bethany worked at Huntington National Bank where she gained even more networking and sales experience. Not long after, Bethany ended up back at Northwestern Mutual where she is in charge of the recruitment and selection process, along with leadership and internship development. Currently, Bethany is living in Robinson, right outside of Pittsburgh. She spends her time with family and friends, traveling, and dancing.
Cheyenne Newsock
Financial Advisor
Cheyenne Svihla graduated from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and minors in Information Systems and Healthcare Administration. Upon graduation, Cheyenne began her career with Northwestern Mutual. Cheyenne strives to understand her client's needs and challenges by creating genuine relationships with them, giving them the confidence to become better money managers. She is dedicated to designing effective financial plans for her clients, while creating long term relationships. Cheyenne and her team's extensive knowledge has enabled her clients to have a lifetime of financial security they thought they would never have. Cheyenne works with a unique client base centered around millennials and female professionals, including the LGBT community and other minorities all across the United States. Cheyenne also enjoys working with engineers and millennials working in the IT sector.
Mary Stadelman
Financial Advisor
Mary Stadelman was raised in Washington, PA and attended Trinity High School. She then went on to graduate from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and a Business Minor from the Tepper School of Business. She also played volleyball for the Tartans. Following graduation, Mary joined Northwestern Mutual to begin her journey of helping people gain financial security. Mary is committed to always doing what is right for her clients by not only working with them directly, but by connecting them with other professionals that specialize in their needs. Mary works with a diverse group of clients, and specializes in working with business owners specifically in the construction and technical spaces, female entrepreneurs and women in business, young professionals, young families, and professional individuals nearing retirement.
